The Sweety is the marquetry card holder of the Suki range — several leathers assembled on a single surface to form an overall motif. Not a single inlay but a composition: each piece cut separately, positioned, pressed into its setting, top-stitched. 12.5 × 7.5 cm, four card slots, attachment ring. The base is in vegetable-tanned full-grain cowhide milled at the workshop, 6 rue Labie — or in upcycled smooth leather depending on stock. The edges are tinted tone on tone. The top-stitching is laid by hand, 2 mm from the edge, on each piece of the marquetry. The complexity of the motif lies in the making, not in the volume — the Sweety remains flat, card-holder format.

That is why we carefully select milled vegetable-tanned hides, chosen for their unique grain, their natural suppleness and their living feel. Vegetable tanning is an ancestral craft, whose first gestures reach back to prehistory. A slower, more demanding process, in which time is part of the making. That slowness gives rise to durable leathers, able to cross the years with elegance and character. Milling gives the leather a supple, warm and deeply authentic texture. No two pieces are ever quite alike: every grain, every relief, every variation already tells a story. And that is precisely what we are after: creating accessories that live a long life, patinate beautifully and go on, day after day, telling something about you.

Every piece is assembled in our atelier at 6 Rue Labie, in the 17th arrondissement. Cutting, splitting, setting, hand stitching, edge burnishing — everything is done by hand, here.
No subcontracting, no imports: a Parisian house working European vegetable-tanned leather, in small batches, with no subcontracting and nothing imported.

Le Sweety c'est celui qui m'a le plus impressionnée. Chaque petit motif est posé et cousu individuellement, c'est de la marqueterie. Quand je le sors à la caisse les gens regardent. Le prix est complètement justifié quand on comprend le temps que ça demande.

J'ai eu peur que les motifs s'abiment avec le temps, après 7 mois d'utilisation quotidienne tout est en place, rien ne bouge. Je mets 4 étoiles simplement parce que j'aurais aimé un choix de motifs plus large, on ne peut pas composer le sien.

The Sweety is entirely handmade in our Parisian atelier, at 6 rue Labie in the 17th arrondissement. From cutting to hand stitching, every step takes place in Paris.
We work with full-grain vegetable-tanned cowhide, sourced from European tanneries committed to responsible practices. This leather develops a unique patina that grows more beautiful with time and use.
Day to day, wipe with a soft, dry cloth and store the piece in its cotton pouch, away from sunlight. To nourish the leather, apply a colourless nourishing milk (silicone-free) in a thin layer: once a month for daily use, once a season for occasional use. Avoid direct heat and household cleaners; if the piece gets caught in the rain, let it air-dry, then nourish it.
No. Unlike a print or an appliqué, our motifs are inlaid into the thickness of the leather. They are an integral part of the piece and do not fade with use. Only the patina will deepen their relief over time.
In-stock pieces ship within 48 to 72 business hours. Delivery is free within mainland France from €100, and to Japan from ¥40,000. For a personalised piece (engraving, marking), allow 7 to 10 additional days for production.
Yes, you have 14 days from receipt to return a non-personalised piece in its original condition. Exchanges and refunds are processed within 7 business days of the parcel arriving back at our atelier.
Yes. We carry out hot-stamping (gold, silver or natural) on most of our pieces, up to 8 characters. Personalisation costs 30 € and adds 7 to 10 days to the production time.
