The spirit of the collection

Suki Paris pouches are hand-sewn in our rue Labie atelier in Paris. The collection comes in three families: zip pouches, flat and closed with a zip, to keep everyday things in order inside a bag; passport pouches, sized for travel papers; and envelope pouches, with a triangular flap closed by a leather-covered press-stud. All share the same full-grain leather and the same taste for motifs cut by hand.

Sheathing has been part of Suki Paris's DNA since the beginning. The very first wallet Amandine made in training was already covered in dozens of sheathed press-studs, like an obsession for detail and colour. She discovered this leather-inlay technique thanks to tools brought back from a trip to Thailand: geometric shapes, stars, graphic motifs... Then came the urge to create her own motifs. Today, some of our unique tools are developed with Parisian craftspeople, between know-how and creative experimentation.

Bisou, Sevilla and Nikiti use full-grain vegetable-tanned Italian cowhide. Dream uses an upcycled leather sourced from specialised suppliers.

**Zip.** Flat and closed with a YKK zip, 19.5 × 13 cm, for cards, cables, make-up or papers, in hand or inside a larger bag.

**Passport.** Passport-sized, keeping passport, tickets and cards together, on departure days and evenings out alike: see the passport pouches.

**Envelope.** A triangular flap closed by a leather-covered press-stud, 15.5 × 12 cm: the most graphic shape in the collection, the one carried on its own in the evening.

Leather clutches — vegetable-tanned leather, Suki Paris

A soft, dry cloth day to day, a colourless nourishing milk from time to time. Vegetable-tanned leather develops a patina that makes the piece more beautiful over the years — the surface deepens and takes on its own character.
