Ulysse is the bolder of the two: leather-covered, top-stitched hearts sign the front. Both share the same build: one large zipped compartment, a zipped pocket front and back, a clasp for your keys. Both are worn on the shoulder or crossbody, never at the waist, in black, camel or forest green.

— Material —
The leather used for Suki's belt bags is full-grain cowhide, the top and toughest layer of the hide, milled to soften it, then vegetable-tanned, a process that uses bark tannins instead of chromium salts. The result is a leather that develops a patina with use: it darkens slightly where hands touch it, and small variations in grain make every piece a little different from the next. Edges are wax-dyed, the closure is a gold-finish YKK Excella zip set by hand in two passes, and inside, a waterproof nylon lining protects against weather and everyday wear.
Everything happens at 6 rue Labie, in Paris's 17th arrondissement, a short walk from place des Ternes. Cutting, assembly, stitching and wax finishing follow one after another on site, in small runs, with no subcontracting. It's this atelier work, carried out by the same team from the first stitch to the last, that gives each belt bag its clean finish and consistency: the work of a leatherworker who stays responsible for the piece all the way to the shop floor.
