Full-grain leather: what changes over time
Suki bucket bags combine two milled leathers tanned in Italy: a full-grain leather with natural grain, and a lightly corrected-grain leather chosen for its softness and light. Over two metres of leather lace are then hand-braided into the signature weave — a technique Amandine learned in Amazonia from ancestral craftspeople.

Initials, a short name or a date: hot-stamping — gold, silver or natural, up to 8 characters (+€30) — is carried out at the rue Labie atelier on every order, before dispatch. The bag leaves engraved, one of a kind.
For a matching set, the women's leather wallets take the same engraving.

Which bags does Suki Paris make?
- Three models, hand-sewn rue Labie in Paris 17th: the Ulysse (€320) and Pandora (€250) shoulder bags, and the Altaï bucket bag with hand-woven handles. Each comes in black, camel and forest.
What leather are they made of?
- Full-grain, vegetable-tanned milled cowhide, which develops a patina rather than wearing out. On the shoulder bags, gold-finish YKK Excella zips; the Altaï closes with a magnet and drawstring. The lining is a tough, waterproof nylon.
How are they worn?
- The shoulder bags are worn crossbody or on the shoulder, never at the waist — the leather-and-cotton strap is removable and adjustable. The Altaï is carried by its hand-woven handles.
Can a bag be engraved?
- Yes. Hot-stamping in gold, silver or natural (+€30) — initials, a short name or a date — at the rue Labie atelier on every order, before dispatch.
What do they hold?
- The shoulder bag keeps the essentials in its large zipped compartment, front, back and inner pockets and key clasp. The Altaï carries the day in its 21 × 22 × 16 cm bucket, with an inner key clasp and a back pocket.
