The Belize is a limited-edition leather purse — a colour or pattern that will not return. 12.5 × 8.5 cm, four card slots, two compartments, gold YKK Excella zip: the structure of the Achille, with a finish that sets it apart. The sheathed and topstitched motifs are set by hand at the workshop, 6 rue Labie, in the same milled, vegetable-tanned full-grain cowhide. The precision of the gesture is the same on a 12 cm object as on a large bag — it is one of the constants of the Suki range. An iconic Suki classic, the Belize embodies the brand's world through its play of colours, its signature motifs and its painstaking leather marquetry. Every motif is assembled piece by piece in our Parisian atelier. The shapes are cut one by one from contrasting leathers, then adjusted with precision to compose a true leather marquetry, graphic and full of character. This work calls for patience, precision and a feel for detail. Each element is designed to create rhythm, relief and a unique harmony between colours and materials. A creation shaped with care, where nothing is left to chance — for a piece as singular as you are.

Every piece is assembled in our atelier at 6 Rue Labie, in the 17th arrondissement. Cutting, splitting, setting, hand stitching, edge burnishing — everything is done by hand, here.
No subcontracting, no imports: a Parisian house working European vegetable-tanned leather, in small batches, with no subcontracting and nothing imported.

Les motifs sont vraiment exclusifs, je n'ai vu ça nulle part ailleurs, et la fabrication est irréprochable. Mais à 150 euros je m'attendais à un peu plus de capacité : les 4 emplacements se remplissent vite et le compartiment monnaie reste petit. Beau produit, à condition d'aimer voyager léger.
Je passais rue Labie par hasard, je suis entrée, je suis ressortie avec le Belize. Aucun regret. On voit l'atelier derrière la boutique, on comprend tout de suite pourquoi le prix est ce qu'il est. C'est du vrai travail de maroquinier, pas de l'artisanat de façade.

Offert à ma mère pour ses 60 ans, elle qui n'aime jamais rien a fondu. Elle m'a envoyé une photo dès le lendemain avec toutes ses cartes rangées dedans. Mission accomplie !
Détail que personne ne mentionne : la doublure nylon à l'intérieur. J'ai déja eu des portefeuilles en cuir doublé cuir qui gonflent et se déforment, la celui ci reste plat. Bien vu.
Le grain du cuir foulonné est magnifique en vrai, les photos ne rendent pas justice. Livraison rapide et emballage très soigné. Une étoile en moins pour le prix, 150 euros c'est un vrai budget même si je comprends d'où il vient.

We work with full-grain vegetable-tanned cowhide, sourced from European tanneries committed to responsible practices. This leather develops a unique patina that grows more beautiful with time and use.
Day to day, wipe with a soft, dry cloth and store the piece in its cotton pouch, away from sunlight. To nourish the leather, apply a colourless nourishing milk (silicone-free) in a thin layer: once a month for daily use, once a season for occasional use. Avoid direct heat and household cleaners; if the piece gets caught in the rain, let it air-dry, then nourish it.
No. Unlike a print or an appliqué, our motifs are inlaid into the thickness of the leather. They are an integral part of the piece and do not fade with use. Only the patina will deepen their relief over time.
In-stock pieces ship within 48 to 72 business hours. Delivery is free within mainland France from €100, and to Japan from ¥40,000. For a personalised piece (engraving, marking), allow 7 to 10 additional days for production.
Yes, you have 14 days from receipt to return a non-personalised piece in its original condition. Exchanges and refunds are processed within 7 business days of the parcel arriving back at our atelier.
Yes. We carry out hot-stamping (gold, silver or natural) on most of our pieces, up to 8 characters. Personalisation costs 30 € and adds 7 to 10 days to the production time.
