The Kiss is the vegetable-tanned leather cardholder from the Suki range — a material with a life of its own, and one that shows it. On this uncoated leather, the hand-stitched and hand-sheathed motifs take on a depth that treated leather lacks: the contrast between the inlay and the ground shifts over time. 12.5 × 7.5 cm, four card slots, attachment ring. Full-grain milled vegetable-tanned cowhide or, depending on stock, upcycled smooth leather — same technique, same gesture at the workshop, 6 rue Labie. Vegetable tanning gradually darkens with the warmth of the hand and exposure to light, taking on a patina all its own. Edges dyed tone on tone. Topstitching set 2 mm from the edge, by hand.

Every piece is assembled in our atelier at 6 Rue Labie, in the 17th arrondissement. Cutting, splitting, setting, hand stitching, edge burnishing — everything is done by hand, here.

No subcontracting, no imports: a Parisian house working European vegetable-tanned leather, in small batches, with no subcontracting and nothing imported.

Acheté en même temps que le sac Altaï, je suis ravie de ce petit porte carte joyeux et lumineux avec cet arc-en-ciel de coeurs marquetés. Il est pourvu d'un petit anneau qui permet de l'accrocher à la petite lanière élastique prévue à cet effet dans le sac Altaï, très pratique pour être sûre de ne pas le perdre ou se le faire chiper... je l'aime, comme toutes mes pièces SUKI PARIS, mon addiction va me rendre pauvre, mais c'est une belle addiction qui encourage de plus une chouette artisane. Mon porte-cartes depuis 2 ans

Le Kiss m'accompagne depuis deux ans maintenant. Il a pris une patine que je trouve encore plus belle qu'au premier jour, le cuir non enduit vit vraiment avec vous. Aucune couture n'a lâché. Quand il faudra le remplacer je reprendrai exactement le même.

Cadeau pour mon compagnon qui n'aime que les objets simples et bien faits. Validé par ses soins, c'est rare ! Il le trouve un peu rigide au début, il parait que ça se détend avec le temps, on verra dans quelques mois.

Le tannage végétal ça se sent

On m'avait expliqué la différence entre tannage végétal et tannage chrome sans que je comprenne vraiment. Depuis que j'ai le Kiss je comprend. L'odeur, la façon dont le cuir se réchauffe dans la main, la couleur qui bouge doucement. C'est un objet vivant.

Where is the Kiss made?+

The Kiss is entirely handmade in our Parisian atelier, at 6 rue Labie in the 17th arrondissement. From cutting to hand stitching, every step takes place in Paris.

What leather do you use?+

We work with full-grain vegetable-tanned cowhide, sourced from European tanneries committed to responsible practices. This leather develops a unique patina that grows more beautiful with time and use.

How do I care for my Suki Paris leather piece?+

Day to day, wipe with a soft, dry cloth and store the piece in its cotton pouch, away from sunlight. To nourish the leather, apply a colourless nourishing milk (silicone-free) in a thin layer: once a month for daily use, once a season for occasional use. Avoid direct heat and household cleaners; if the piece gets caught in the rain, let it air-dry, then nourish it.

Can the inlaid motifs wear off?+

No. Unlike a print or an appliqué, our motifs are inlaid into the thickness of the leather. They are an integral part of the piece and do not fade with use. Only the patina will deepen their relief over time.

What are the delivery times?+

In-stock pieces ship within 48 to 72 business hours. Delivery is free within mainland France from €100, and to Japan from ¥40,000. For a personalised piece (engraving, marking), allow 7 to 10 additional days for production.

Can I return or exchange my purchase?+

Yes, you have 14 days from receipt to return a non-personalised piece in its original condition. Exchanges and refunds are processed within 7 business days of the parcel arriving back at our atelier.

Do you offer a personalisation service?+

Yes. We carry out hot-stamping (gold, silver or natural) on most of our pieces, up to 8 characters. Personalisation costs 30 € and adds 7 to 10 days to the production time.
