The Freyja takes its name from the Norse goddess of love and beauty. A leather coin purse with trim chosen for its colour — a shade that says something before it's even opened. Same structure as the other coin purses of the house: 12.5 × 8.5 cm, four card slots, two separate interior compartments, gold YKK Excella zip, gusset. The sheathed and topstitched motifs are set by hand at the workshop on 6 rue Labie in fulled vegetable-tanned full-grain cowhide or, depending on stock, in upcycled smooth leather. Ma couleur, mon humeur
J'ai choisi le Freyja pour la couleur avant tout, et je ne regrette pas une seconde. Le cuir upcyclé a un grain particulier, un peu plus lisse, très agréable en main. Les 4 emplacements CB suffisent amplement, et le soufflet permet de mettre pas mal de pièces sans que ça déforme. C'est mon compagnon de tous les jours depuis 5 mois.

La couleur n'est pas tout à fait celle du site
J'hésitais entre le Freyja et l'Achille, j'ai appelé la boutique et on m'a très gentiment conseillée. Le produit est beau, aucun doute là dessus. Mon souci c'est que la couleur reçue est assez éloignée de celle affichée en ligne, beaucoup plus soutenue. On m'a proposé un échange, ce qui est correct, mais j'ai préféré garder. 3 étoiles pour ça uniquement.

Le zip, quel plaisir
Franchement le zip YKK Excella c'est le genre de détail qu'on ne remarque pas au début et qui fait toute la différence après 6 mois. Aucun accroc, aucun bruit désagréable. Tout est du même niveau sur ce portefeuille.

Set with a template, stitched at 2 mm.
The motifs on the Freyja are applied by hand using the same method as the entire Suki small leather goods range: each shape cut from a contrasting leather, positioned to template, pressed into its recess, topstitched 2 mm from the edge.
The Freyja is available in fulled vegetable-tanned leather or upcycled smooth leather, subject to stock. In either case, the making is identical — same workshop, same gesture, same hand. Rue Labie, Paris 17e.

Every piece is assembled in our atelier at 6 Rue Labie, in the 17th arrondissement. Cutting, splitting, setting, hand stitching, edge burnishing — everything is done by hand, here.
No subcontracting, no imports: a Parisian house working European vegetable-tanned leather, in small batches, with no subcontracting and nothing imported.

Where is the Freyja made?+
The Freyja is entirely handmade in our Parisian atelier, at 6 rue Labie in the 17th arrondissement. From cutting to hand stitching, every step takes place in Paris.
What leather do you use?+
We work with full-grain vegetable-tanned cowhide, sourced from European tanneries committed to responsible practices. This leather develops a unique patina that grows more beautiful with time and use.
What does it hold?+
Four cards in the dedicated slots, folded notes and coins in the two inner compartments. The gusset adds volume and the zip closes it all — a 12.5 × 8.5 cm format that fits in any bag.
How do I care for my Suki Paris leather piece?+
Day to day, wipe with a soft, dry cloth and store the piece in its cotton pouch, away from sunlight. To nourish the leather, apply a colourless nourishing milk (silicone-free) in a thin layer: once a month for daily use, once a season for occasional use. Avoid direct heat and household cleaners; if the piece gets caught in the rain, let it air-dry, then nourish it.
Can the inlaid motifs wear off?+
No. Unlike a print or an appliqué, our motifs are inlaid into the thickness of the leather. They are an integral part of the piece and do not fade with use. Only the patina will deepen their relief over time.
What are the delivery times?+
In-stock pieces ship within 48 to 72 business hours. Delivery is free internationally from €200, and to Japan from ¥40,000. For a personalised piece (engraving, marking), allow 7 to 10 additional days for production.
Can I return or exchange my purchase?+
Yes, you have 14 days from receipt to return a non-personalised piece in its original condition. Exchanges and refunds are processed within 7 business days of the parcel arriving back at our atelier.
Do you offer a personalisation service?+
Yes. We carry out hot-stamping (gold, silver or natural) on most of our pieces, up to 8 characters. Personalisation costs 30 € and adds 7 to 10 days to the production time.
