Le Amour porte bien son nom. Les motifs coeur sont gainés un par un, on voit les surpiqûres qui suivent parfaitement la courbe. Je ne sais pas combien de temps ça prend à faire mais ça doit être long. Résultat : un porte-cartes que je sors avec plaisir.
Trop beau
Je voulais un porte-cartes simple, mais pas complètement banal. Celui-ci me plaît beaucoup. Le cuir est joli de près
Offert à ma femme pour notre anniversaire de mariage, elle a adoré le clin d'oeil. Et la qualité est vraiment là, ce n'est pas juste un joli objet.
Je travaille dans le textile et je suis assez difficile sur les finitions. Là il n'y a rien à reprendre. Les bords teintés sont réguliers, les angles sont propres, l'anneau est bien fixé. Du beau travail.
J’ai fait le tri dans mes cartes pour ne garder que celles qui servent. Ça n’a pas été difficile !
Mes quatre cartes et je pars. Ça me convient très bien. Il passe dans mon petti sac du soir. Le cuir est joli de près. Je l’avais regardé plusieurs fois avant de me décider. J’avais surtout peur de me tromper en commandant sans le voir en boutique, alors j’ai pris le temps de comparer les photos et les formats. Une fois reçu, plus de doute.

Les cartes sont accessibles et le format me va. Je n’en demandais pas plus. Je garde mes cartes les plus utiles dedans.
Offert à une amie qui n’aime pas les grands portefeuilles. Elle l’utilise déjà. C’était une petite attention, et elle a été appréciée. Les détails du cuir ont été appréciés aussi.
Il passe du sac de la semaine à celui du week-end sans prendre de place. Je garde mes cartes les plus utiles dedans.
Je l’ai choisi pour moi, après avoir hésité entre plusieurs modèles. Aucun regret. Pas de poche qui reste vide, c’est bien pour moi.
THE GESTURE
The Amour's heart is cut by hand from a contrasting leather, then wrapped and stitched onto the front — a motif set with a template, never printed. Tone-on-tone dyed edges, four card slots, a metallic attachment ring.
Like all Suki small leather goods, it is hand-sewn on rue Labie, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.

Every piece is assembled in our atelier at 6 Rue Labie, in the 17th arrondissement. Cutting, splitting, setting, hand stitching, edge burnishing — everything is done by hand, here.
No subcontracting, no imports: a Parisian house working European vegetable-tanned leather, in small batches, with no subcontracting and nothing imported.

The Amour is entirely handmade in our Parisian atelier, at 6 rue Labie in the 17th arrondissement. From cutting to hand stitching, every step takes place in Paris.
We work with full-grain vegetable-tanned cowhide, sourced from European tanneries committed to responsible practices. This leather develops a unique patina that grows more beautiful with time and use.
Four cards in the dedicated slots, plus a central compartment for a few folded notes. At 12.5 × 7.5 cm, it is the slimmest of our small leather goods.
Day to day, wipe with a soft, dry cloth and store the piece in its cotton pouch, away from sunlight. To nourish the leather, apply a colourless nourishing milk (silicone-free) in a thin layer: once a month for daily use, once a season for occasional use. Avoid direct heat and household cleaners; if the piece gets caught in the rain, let it air-dry, then nourish it.
No. Unlike a print or an appliqué, our motifs are inlaid into the thickness of the leather. They are an integral part of the piece and do not fade with use. Only the patina will deepen their relief over time.
In-stock pieces ship within 48 to 72 business hours. Delivery is free internationally from €200, and to Japan from ¥40,000. For a personalised piece (engraving, marking), allow 7 to 10 additional days for production.
Yes, you have 14 days from receipt to return a non-personalised piece in its original condition. Exchanges and refunds are processed within 7 business days of the parcel arriving back at our atelier.
Yes. We carry out hot-stamping (gold, silver or natural) on most of our pieces, up to 8 characters. Personalisation costs 30 € and adds 7 to 10 days to the production time.
