Bonne idée
Je change souvent de sac. Avec la pochette, mes papiers suivent en une fois. La pression se ferme facilement. Je la garde aussi avec moi quand je ne voyage pas.

Elle vieillit magnifiquement
Le cuir non enduit du Bisou c'est ce qui m'a décidée et je confirme : après un an la patine est splendide, plus chaude, plus profonde. Ça devient un objet personnel, marqué par mes voyages. C'est exactement ce que je cherchais.

Petit bémol devenu qualité
Au début la pression était un peu dure à ouvrir, j'ai failli m'inquiéter. Au bout de deux semaines c'est devenu parfait, elle s'est faite. Rien à voir avec un défaut, c'est juste du cuir neuf qui se détend. Aujourd'hui c'est ma pochette préférée.

A passion for sheathing
Sheathing has been part of Suki Paris's DNA since my very beginnings.
My very first training wallet was already covered with dozens of sheathed press studs — an obsession with detail and colour. I discovered this leather marquetry technique thanks to tools brought back from a trip to Thailand: geometric shapes, stars, graphic motifs… Then came the urge to create my own motifs. Today, some of our one-off tools are developed with Parisian craftsmen, somewhere between know-how and creative experiment.

Every piece is assembled in our atelier at 6 Rue Labie, in the 17th arrondissement. Cutting, splitting, setting, hand stitching, edge burnishing — everything is done by hand, here.
No subcontracting, no imports: a Parisian house working European vegetable-tanned leather, in small batches, with no subcontracting and nothing imported.

Everything about the Bisou.
Where is the Bisou made?+
The Bisou is entirely handmade in our Parisian atelier, at 6 rue Labie in the 17th arrondissement. From cutting to hand stitching, every step takes place in Paris.
What leather do you use?+
We work with full-grain vegetable-tanned cowhide, sourced from European tanneries committed to responsible practices. This leather develops a unique patina that grows more beautiful with time and use.
What does it hold?+
Your passport and travel papers, in a 15.5 × 12 cm envelope format closed with a leather-covered snap.
How do I care for my Suki Paris leather piece?+
Day to day, wipe with a soft, dry cloth and store the piece in its cotton pouch, away from sunlight. To nourish the leather, apply a colourless nourishing milk (silicone-free) in a thin layer: once a month for daily use, once a season for occasional use. Avoid direct heat and household cleaners; if the piece gets caught in the rain, let it air-dry, then nourish it.
Can the inlaid motifs wear off?+
No. Unlike a print or an appliqué, our motifs are inlaid into the thickness of the leather. They are an integral part of the piece and do not fade with use. Only the patina will deepen their relief over time.
What are the delivery times?+
In-stock pieces ship within 48 to 72 business hours. Delivery is free internationally from €200, and to Japan from ¥40,000. For a personalised piece (engraving, marking), allow 7 to 10 additional days for production.
Can I return or exchange my purchase?+
Yes, you have 14 days from receipt to return a non-personalised piece in its original condition. Exchanges and refunds are processed within 7 business days of the parcel arriving back at our atelier.
Do you offer a personalisation service?+
Yes. We carry out hot-stamping (gold, silver or natural) on most of our pieces, up to 8 characters. Personalisation costs 30 € and adds 7 to 10 days to the production time.
