While she taught cello there, it was in Bolivia, in the heart of the Amazon, that Amandine Simon discovers a passion for leather goods.
San Ignacio de Moxos in the Beni department, it is the Amazon which becomes pampas through clearing to cultivate soya and raise cattle. We live there to the rhythm of animist festivals and the generator which stops every evening at 6 p.m. Between the houses made of woven palm leaves and the clouds of fireflies, Amandine learns the art of leather.
Back in France, Amandine trained in a more academic way, refined her style and met Bruno.
After a road trip from Paris to Beijing, Bruno crosses China with his thumbs up to retrace the Silk Road and reach India. He settles for several months a year between India, Nepal and Thailand and finds precious stoles for luxury.
Suki was born somewhere between 2015 and 2016. When their daughter was born, Bruno and Amandine set up their family and their leather goods workshop in a secret and island paradise on the Seine.
Since 2020, it is in the heart of the 17th arrondissement of Paris that they have established their showroom workshop where they design and make all their collections.
